I asked my parents to buy me a Wii about a month ago they said yes. Although every time we try to get one they are all sold out or they don't have a shipment coming in that week. My dad has just given up and I just want to buy one online but they won't let me because they say its a waste of money. How do I convince them otherwise?

Hail
Tell them you've changed your mind and that you want a PS3, the one with the 60gb hard drive, you know the REALLY expensive one. When they find out how much the PS3 costs they'll think the Wii is a much better idea.

just wait awhile longer- i work in retail so ive been seeing the trend as wiis come in, its not that their not coming, they are indeed coming, in fact most stores get shipments of 24 wiis every other week about almost. Problem is people are buying them out within 2-3 hours of them arriving. Just be pantient and wait for the rush to die down- i think in another month or two maybe 3 we will see them in stock at stores- we have ps3s in stock normally now so i suspect the wiis rush will die down soon to. Buying it online might be a waste of money- i have to agree with your parents on that.

I even don't have any argument which will paintings. Get some funds and purchase a wii and the video games you want, then coach your associates how a lot relaxing it truly is. in the adventure that they prefer it, good. in the adventure that they don't love it, it is you contained in the canines living house- no longer me. your associates have thier minds made up. are you able to do all that and nevertheless shop the grades and do the house responsibilities and earn the money you'd be wanting to purchase extra video games? Hmmm. you want a pastime, or promote all of your previous stuff.

Tell them you wish to become a pilot, and that the WII is perfect to enhance hand-eye coordination.

If that does not work, well, I do suggest you work for it, ask your dad to increase your chores at home in exchange for the WII (wash he's car, mow the lawn, arrange the attic or basement, etc.)

If that does not work either, then ask your neighbors for simple jobs you can do in their home in exchange for a fee, and save to by your WII.

Keep in mind that you might not get the WII for nothing, you will have to work for it in some way or another, in school, at home, with your neighbors, etc. But I know you will have a greater satisfaction when you finally have the WII in your hands.

And please, oh, please don't let your parents know about the control's strap failure from the first batch of WIIs. They might not want to buy it at all.

If you really want this game system, earn your own money and save it until you have enough. Your parents will see that you are willing to do more than whine about not having it and by the time you save the money the price may have gone down. If you work for something, you appreciate it more than if it is just given to you with no effort expended on your part.

Get A JOB then you won't have time to play games. Also, if you wait something NEW will come out for even MORE money you can plague your parents over.

Every time they say, "No, you can't have a Wii" you should ask them, "Wiiiiiiiiiiii?" This will annoy them until they give in and buy you one.

Be patient and they will get to the store near you. I would want brand new and your parents prob want you to have the best, not something used, for all the cash.

Be a good girl and ask santa or tie your parents up and hold a lighter to their toes until they agree.
