If you mean grease then pour flour or baking powder on it and cover with a lid. If the fire is in greece call the greece fire department.

it's funny to imagine your house in flames and you stop to log onto yahoo and ask how to put out a GREASE fire. the best way to put out any fire is to call 911... it's like magic... you dial that number and fireman show up.

now, in GREECE, if they have a GREASE GREECE fire, they dial something different... check with the local authority there and they will tll you what number to dial. i think it's 999....

Use baking soda to put out a grease fire. Do not use water - as water will cause it to spread.

Greek fire could only be put out by urinating on it.
GREASE fire can be put out with flour or by putting a lid on it.

I don think you can, sine it doesnt require oxygen you cant smother it and i know water doesnt work, you just hyave to let it burn
