Do I have to remake them or do they just stay?

Duuuude, please take the advice of whoever said not to do it. It is a pain in the butt. And i found out the hard way. When I tried to get rid of it and go back to IE6, it wouldn't take. I get the message that the system detects that there is a newer version installed. It won't override it. They have an uninstall tool on the website but it does not work. For this reason i use IE7 and Firefox.

Do you mean your Links Toolbar? Those links will stay, but you may need to right-click near the tabs and choose to display the Links bar so that you can use it.

Don't get IE seven, its got some good things, but more bad things to it, trust me. The best thing to do would be to get firefox, just go to mozilla.com, trust me you won't regret it.
