our skin is a slight acid. soap is a base but is stronger then our skin. we want to neutralize our skin so they add a little acid to lower the pH of the base. I guess if they didnt it wouldnt work so well. the more neutral your skin/hair the better it looks. thats why more expensive shampoos work better, they neutralize better.

No, it's actually less intense. The more acidic it is, the better it is at removing stains, and sometimes, at burning skin

is it if its blue its base
and if its red its acid??
assuming you are an indian,havent you seent he dove ad?
what ever turns blue is harsh for your skin.than what doesnt change color.
