Yahoo people search will help you find listed people, and has a link to intellius which is a paysite, but will find unlisted people.
Some states have an online court system case search. If you know what state the person is in, you can search for them as the case record should have their address. If they have been involven in any criminal or civil case (even a speeding ticket) their address might be in there.
