pursue them and do it secretly for sm time and then see if u can cope with it, tell them what ur doin!

My advice is not so different from the others, except that I have a way you can get your family to support you in your dream.
What many aspiring actors fail to realize is that acting is much more than wanting to be famous. Real acting requires you to be expert in just about every field of study. If you want to do a Shakespeare play, you have to learn about Shakespeare and English History and become expert at speaking some of the most beautiful, and difficult, poetry ever written. If you want to do a musical, you have to study how to read music and how to appreciate music and musical theory which is based on mathematics. If you want to do a play or show about current events, you have to be well-read and well-versed in those events.
In short, tell your family that your interest in being an actress will spur you to become a better student in ALL areas and that it will require you to read more and study harder and het better grades.

Just keep getting involved in theater. prove to them that you are committed to it and it isnt just a whim. Also, remember that acting is a HARSH buisiness and be ready to take a lot of rejection and criticism. It HAS to be something you love to be successful.
Your family is just worried about your future. Make sure you study something that you can fall back on if the acting doesnt work out, like teaching or english.

Make your family go to plays or any kind of acting that you might do to show them that you are really serious about this. Act mature and talk to them about your feelings. I hope you become a great actress oneday!!!!!

take u acting lessons and go for small plays to c if they will take u as an actress. then if u succeed in plays, then move onto movies. just start out small and do what u think is best for u.
