Hi R.
Well I suppose a lot of proprietery stuff is less than it claims to do.
I have a hint. Sheet of newspaper. Especially the front page. The printing ink rubs off onto glass, and as it is spirit-based, it removes all the stuff, and creates a bit of a shine.
Goodly for car windows as well.
No, not an "old wive's tale"
Give it a whirl.
Cheap & cheerful.

Bob.

There are special cleaners on the market that take away hard water deposits from your glass and showers available at the supermarkets. Hopefully it is not permanently etched into the glass surface.

use a squigee and **** and Span.

Evidentally Yahoo won't let me use that word, but it is a common cleaning product. I guess you have to do a little puzzle to figure out what word yahoo would find offensive in that cleaning products name. This is another case of how bad apples (those who use offensive language) ruin it for the rest of us!!

Someone suggested fabric softener sheets. I tried it just yesterday, on my shower doors, and it was worked great. Wet the dryer sheets, and scrub the glass. Then rinse it and dry it with a towel.
