I personally think a woman should have the right to choose, but I don't think it should be used as a contraceptive. Some woman are careless deliberately and can use it as a quick fix. However, for every one of these women, there are several more with solid reasons for wanting an abortion. For example, if a woman is raped or attacked, she may not feel able to keep the baby. Some women do not want a child and are not ready for motherhood, so by considering abortion are being responsible, especially in a world so over populated and with enough unloved children. Financial reasons can also be a major factor, as babies are not cheap, and some women feel they have no choice in the matter. Some women are incredible careful with their contraception, but are incredibly unlucky and shouldn't have to live with it for the rest of their lives.

We learnt about this last year in R.E (In year 9)- There is no right answer, just consider the facts from both sides. Woman who were raped may want an abortion becase of trauma, woman thinks shes a uncapable of being a mother. Woman has no support e.t.c. And think of the cons: The aborted child could have found the cure for cancer if the child had a chance to live. The woman may not be able to have another child after the abortion when she's ready. Lots of woman aren't able to have babys, so instead of aborting the baby, a woman can put the child up for adoption. Remember that it is the problem of a woman and a man if a woman becomes pregnant, if she doesn't want to be a mother, then why have sex? You decide wheather your for it or aginst it, and good luck!

Yes I do. However, not in just any case. I think there are very valid reasons for needing an abortion. An example would be, if a girl or woman was raped and became pregant, or if the pregancy would resuld in the deaths of the mother and the child, or if there were substantilal proof that the baby would be born with horrible deformants that would prevent it from living a painfree life. I do not believe that abortion should be used as a form of birth control. If a young girl or woman becomes pregant as a result of not using protection, it is her responsability to carry through and put the child up for adoption if she does not have the ability or family support to raise the child. Abortion was never meant to be a "magic eraser" to take care of these "mistakes". Babies are never mistakes.

no only women shuld not have the right to abort the child as it is the hardwork of both male and female and even after that abortin must not b e there as it is the continuation of new generation and a child is a god wish..................for more piratesofheart51
