Take them along to your local auction room and they will estimate their value. You can then decide whether to go to auction or advertise them privately or even take them along to an antiques fair for a rough guide to their value

i have found a "staffordshire" horse and foal spill vase (in an antiques book) £800-£1200. its 11.5in high (foals are lying down)
