I really love Spain especially Barcelona. I have family in Madrid, Oviedo and Barcelona. Last year I spend 3 weeks in Spain I'm crazy to go back. I also get impressed with the city of Valencia, very modern and incredible Architecture.
I'm a American citizen but my first language is Español, for that reason I can travel and communicate easily in Spain.
For me Spain and Italy are the most beautiful countries in Europe, a lot of history, excellent eating, night life, real cities, beautiful countryside and nice people.

I've been to Spain once, to Madrid and Ibiza. Madrid was wonderful. I especially enjoyed the Prado Museum, as I am an artist, and loved seeing many favorite paintings. A whole section just devoted to Picasso! Some very fine restaurants too. Ibiza was wild... a fun place to party... and so many beautiful women on the beaches! The Spaniards I met were very polite, and I must say I felt very welcome. I would recommend Spain to anyone looking for a great vacation.

I love both Spain and Portugal. The nicest best looking people in the world all seem to come from there. Worry sometimes that your politicians seem to have communist leanings. I wish I could live in your country for a couple years.
