Be your own best friend and the master of your own destiny. Being alone can have one advantage, there is nobody that can cause you grief or aggravation and hinder your own life.
But I'm not saying to be a recluse. Having friends, and a significant other is a good thing. Just be VERY careful with whom you chose those to be.

Yeah,I often go alone:like to an opening of an art exhibition
I don't mind:rather go alone than with some one who is bothered with the things I am going for.

yes...it is not something I want but I will if need be,the thing is though that I will never be truly alone even if I feel like I am-I have God and I know my dad is always with me,at least in my heart

Yes, sometimes it is better to go on alone, less aggravation and you really can't hurt yourself like someone else can. Best alone and happy than with someone and be miserable. =)

Neither willing or able without turning into something I'd rather not be.

In general, yes. If the question was more specific, perhaps I'd have a different answer.

Yes - if you don't find the right person.
I think alot of people get into crap relaionships just because they need to be with someone.
