Samuel P. Massie...LOL

Samuel P. Massie Elementary School is named after Dr. Samuel P. Massie Jr., a chemistry professor who was the first African American to teach at the U.S. Naval Academy. Dr. Massie died April 10, 2005 at Mariner Healthcare Center in Laurel, Maryland. He was 85 and had dementia. Dr. Massie was preceded in death earlier that year by his wife of 57 years, Gloria Massie, a retired Bowie State psychology professor who was once society editor for JET Magazine and a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Survivors include three sons, Herbert Massie and Samuel P. "Trei" Massie III, both of Laurel, and James Massie of Little Rock; six grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.

"I'd like to be remembered as a teacher who cared," Dr. Massie once said, "as a man who tried to make a difference."

Just a random stab in the dark, but I'd hazard a guess at Samuel P Massie.
