I find it sad.
"Blessed are you
when men shall revile you, and curse you,
and speak all manner of evil against you falsely
in my Name,
rejoice and be very glad
for great is your place in heaven!
They persecuted the prophets in the very same way."
-Jesus Mt ch 5

It is Ironic, yes. This so called "gay Agenda" is simply about gay people trying to get the rights and equalities deserved... but since so many "bigoted right wing nut jobs" see homosexuality as an "abomination" the quest for those rights has been spun into an Agenda or promoting the lifestyle and trying to convert as many as possible. It is absurd... and I am more wary of all the child molesting and "bad" deeds performed by so-called morally upstanding straight folk who keep their "evilness" a secret... and continue to bash.

Generally, the people who believe there is an agenda are those who are frightened to death that their belief system is wrong - that there is only one "correct" way to live a life and that they are doing the right thing. That's why they have to gather together in groups to define what is "right" and what is "wrong" for consenting adults to do in all their life aspects (not just sexuality). Because they are unable to feel comfortable in trusting that their way is best for them and that others need to find their own way, they assume that everyone else is similarly emotionally dysfunctional - so of course there has to be a "homosexual agenda" just there has to be a "insert religion/ethnic group here" conspiracy. So to sum up what you probably already knew - they're insecure and defensive because they are narrow minded, emotionally stunted twits who cannot stand to have anything exist that might force them to examine any aspect of their life/belief system.
And I never find hypocrisy ironic - I find it dishonest and detestable.

It is all very odd. We pay taxes and make very valid contributions to society, just like everybody else. So, why shouldn't we have equal rights? But people love to use any excuse to be intolerant and bigoted, and they will create lies about this "agenda" -- as if gays are intent on taking over the world.
Tell me ... who goes around the world starting wars and being pig-headed? I don't hear of gay people wanting to hurt other people. We don't get up on our high horses threatening other countries with destruction. On the contrary, we prefer peace. But again, it goes back to people who need to be intolerant and hateful against anybody who differs with their preferences, and these people love to be control freaks. Why should we have to answer to them for approval?

Often thought about that. Since there are facts and science to back up what LGBT' s say about who they are.
It's the other side that has an agenda- to deny BASIC rights, to allow discrimination, to try and force people to be something they are not. They use lies, fear and ignorance to push their opinions on the rest of us.

When I despair, I remember that all through history the ways of truth and love have always won. There have been tyrants, and murderers, and for a time they can seem invincible, but in the end they always fall. Think of it--always. Mahatma Gandhi
First they ignore you,
then they laugh at you,
then they fight you,
then you win.

Sorry, there is. Once gays get gvmt approval of marriage, then they will use the gvmt to sue corporations to get benefits that weren't earned.
You are asking others to accept your associations, then you force your associations on others. Sorry it doesn't work that way.
You have the right to associate freely with whom you choose, as others have the freedom to choose not to associate with you.
