You have to use tip tinner. The tip of the soldering iron will oxidize if you don't use it properly and what you are seeing is the only spot on the tip that still isn't oxidized. Tip tinner comes in small bottle cap sized containers and is really an acid/paste flux mixture you grind the tip into for a few seconds. To prevent this from happening in the future, after you re-tin the tip, put a blob of solder on the tip of the iron, then turn it off. when the iron cools you are protecting the tip with a ball of solidified solder. But be careful when you turn it back on or you'll fling that solder all over the place when it heats to it's melting point.

First, is it an electrical part or a cooling part. Condenser could be one of two things here. Use the appropriate solder for the task. Good luck.

Yes I am being silly here, one does not really expect an AC condenser on a motorcycle. Have fun with the questions!

Any electrical components should be soldered with only rosin core solder. Not solid core, and definitely not acid core. Look for 60/40

Rosin core solder is the stuff for electrical systems, NOT acid core, that's for regular metal soldering, it'll eat the wire insulation, you want ROSIN core.

use only ROSIN CORE for electrical , and no it doesnt have any silver in it, any mix 70/30 or 60/40 or what ever, will work fine that is the lead /zinc mix , and it only makes a marginal difference in the strength of the join .
