I have a weird computer problem. i have Command and Conquer Generals and Flight Simulater 2004, and both of them worked fine. and then one day, they just stopped working, i put them in the computer, and it just stayed on my desktop, it wouldnt do anything. i think what the problem might be is Direct X9, but my brothers computer is the exact same as mine, and he has Direct X9. i have no idea what the problem is, and i kinda want to figure it out! lol. i have a Dell Diminsion 3100. and it doesnt have any part upgrades, its just right from the store. please help me!!!

If this problem just happened a simple System Restore should put back in what ever is missing.
Start>all programs>accessories>system tools>System Restore. Now click on Restore my computer to a earlier time. Pick a date in bold where you know the game was working correctly.

Try reinstalling your directx.
