Why unloyal?
If you got with his sister and the sister was happy, and his bmate was happy, and he could trust his suster with his mate...
Logically he should be happy...
All these rules are stupid...
His sister is a girl like any girl... All the same bits, all the same feelings.
The only reason he should see his sister any different to all a other girls is to prevent him wanting to snog his own sister or shag her as that leads to deformities...
Unfortunetely many brothers dont get thats all there is too it and for some dumbass reason think they are protecting their sister from sex or tripe...
His siste most likely has had far more sex then he has and dont mre then he has and bloody well likes boys...
Shes human just like you and bro.
You need here to point that out to him...
Amybe pinning him up against the wall saying he messes with her love life she will see to it a that all the girls think he has a tiny dick and lasts 2 seconds and will see to it that no girl wants to go with him 'for his protection' and see how he likes it.
he needs to learn his job is to see his mates and sis happy.
And would he rather she has sex with a crck dealing, junkie gun toting gang member?
If he wants to protect her he should pay for her self defence lessons.
Better still have her discuss sex in front of him and all the things shes done with boys and likes doing with boys...

You're not being unloyal although your friend will probably be disgusted at first, but as long as your intentions are honourable then there should be no problem and over time he will grow to accept it.
In fact you have a right be be happy and with the one you really want, and you are being unloyal to yourself if you dont take it any further because your friend.
There are plenty of coulpes out there where the guy is the best mate of the brother.
If you truly have feelings for this girl and she does for you then enjoy it!

Your feelings are normal. At least she is not his younger sister, because he would naturally feel protective of her. She is 18 and can make her own decisions, you should keep her confidence and not tell anyone you shared a sex encounter. The mature thing to do is keep quiet and to use birth control. If you care about her protect her. It is no one else's business. If your relationship becomes steady dating then you will obviously want to let your friend know how much you care about his sister. It should be a happy thing. If it is just a one-time stand, she won't want him to know and it's not your right to tell.

I had sex with my best friends twin brother once. It may be awkward for your friend because he may feel betrayed and when your round at the house your there for his sister and not him. Sadly that how my friend felt. You and the sister should sit down and talk to him together. Fair enough he might be mad at first, but explain that you both have feelings for each other and you both felt that he would appreciate knowing about it instead of you both carrying on behind his back.
best of luck, hope it helps

Do you care about his sister? Would you do anything to hurt her? Probably not. So why should he have a problem with it? He should feel happy that you and his sister are getting on well and are happy. Of course if the relationship breaks down it might make things a little difficult but cross that bridge when you come to it.

Oh geez. You need to tell your friend what happened, because doing that behind his back is really bad. Chances are, after you tell your friend, he'll be a bit pissed, but I'm sure everything will turn out fine. He might feel like you only want to hang out with him for his sister from now on, so you might want to establish that that's not true.

Tell your friend the truth. Sooner or later, your friend will find out. It would be best if the truth came from you rather than a third party.
