I've had few of them, and they're not all that bad. feels a little uncomfortable, but just remember to hold very still. You'll be ok. After it's done you'll think " hey that wasn't so bad after all"
GOOD LUCK

I had a lumbar puncture carried out for some testing lower back even as i develop into in intense shool, and it went off with no hitch. The interior of reach anesthetic will knock off countless the soreness, and all you'll experience is really pushing, tugging and grinding on your lower back. previous the preliminary prick of the l. a. needle there is not any longer muc actual soreness. i'm particular that in case you ask your physician in case your mom can stay he will easily enable her.

The local will fill just like any shot. It will be a small pinch. Once the local has taken effect you won't feel a thing. Just listen to what the doctors and nurse's tell you what to do and you should be fine. Some hossy have differnt policy's on people being their. But since you are a minor I would think your mother could be in the room with you since it is just a local and your not being put to sleep. Ask your mom she should know if she is going to be there.

Yeh,,,keep your mum there..nothing wrong with a little support.

The anesthetic will sting a little then after that you will just feel pressure or a tingling sensation.
