I think America as a country will be around for a long time- though I think you will have to keep going to refresher courses to keep up with the changes- but isn't that what we are built on? You are too pessimistic my friend- I'm about 5th generation and am married to an English-South African immigrant- first generation. You must realize how many of us and our families were like his- poor, from a country in a revolution,in danger and wanting more. He's an ex Marine, a college-educated software engineer and a outstanding example of an American.....your inference is not nec. true but change constantly happens- anywhere. What we must do as citizens is do our part to have it done in an official,legal and correct way as well as beneficially to all.
