You could enlarge it with whatever digital editing software you use ... but it's still going to look like crap.
Digital images on the Internet are generally 72 dpi, which is much too low a resolution for printing.

Eric R is correct. You can enlarge it, but it's going to be very pixelated. While it's possible to reduce the resolution of an online graphic, you can't make it more than what it currently is. A better idea is to freehand the work, or use the "grid" technique that the old masters used: draw a grid over the existing graphic, and then another grid on your display board. Transfer the image in each box of the grid to the larger box on your board (am I explaining this right???).
If you're not very good at freehanding work, or transferring (while enlarging) images to a larger format, ask an artist friend to help you out.
Another idea: If you're able to recreate the image (re-drawing it) in a small format, but not a larger one, then do that. Take this new, original drawing, and scan it at a high resolution--at least 300 dpi, though if you're doing "line art" you'll want to go as high as 600 dpi. Now, import this graphic into Photoshop, and change it to the size you need. Save this image as a tiff. Now, open a program such as InDesign, Quark, or Pagemaker, and create a new document at the size of the tiff image. Import the tiff, and print out the image using the "tile" option. You can then take your tiled images, glue or tape them together, and attach them to your display board.
Good luck with your project!

first go back to where you found the image then make sure the resolution is at least 300x300 or if you make it any bigger and its not at that resolution it will be very pixelated. (if your image is at this size but is very small in inches it could still get pixelated when making it larger). ok now if everything is alright and you dont have software such as photoshop then the easiest way to make it bigger would be to print it off as big as it is, then take it to a print shop and ask them to scan it in and blow it up proportionally to the size you need. if the size you need is not proportional to what it already is then have them make it bigger and you can just crop it. then just paste it on the display board.

just joking, there are some softwares out there which"magically" enlarge images without apparent loose of quality, search the web for them. but thats too limitated, depends on the size of your image
