i brought my ipod to apple store b/c it was acting weird.they reformatted it b/f asking me if i needed files off it. all of my data files/docs were wiped out. any way to recover data off of ipod?

This exact thing happened to me when I got my iPod. What I believe you did was you formatted through the PC--going to My Computer and reformatting the drive that the iPod was plugged into--instead of formatting through the iPod software. There is absolutely nothing you can do, except go to the nearest iPod store, and have them reboot it for you. Then make sure to format the iPod with its own software the next time.

there are 2 techniques of going about this. a million) unselect the songs from itunes and plug on your ipod. in case you now no longer have itunes or the library or are on a pals computing gadget etc. do this... 2) plug your ipod in. bypass to My computing gadget > Open the iPod's folder > bypass to equipment > folder ideas> View tab > coach the hidden archives. locate the archives you want to delete and delete them. make constructive you repeat those steps, yet make the archives hidden back. this avoids unintentional deletion of considered necessary archives and seen muddle. *** also, that similar procedure works backwards. once you've the finished library on your ipod and it receives deleted off of your computing gadget, you upload the hidden music archives on your ipod to the itunes library.
