ok so i just put a new mobo in a dell computer w/ upgrades because the old one was faulty
well it all worked well until i instauled avg (antivirus) then it reboted and now every time i boot up i get no desktop or start bar/taskbar and i go into the task manager and open/run explorer.exe but it says i don't have permission or it isn't available (im the admin) how can i get it to work
things i have tried:
explorer.exe (won't even show up in the list of prosseses)
reinstauling (won't work with disk, not sure if drives are instauled yet)
things i added recently:
mobo
dvd-rw drive
250gb HD
avg
help please?

a mobo change is always critical. if it's not exactly the same mobo as before you have a mismatch in the hardware layer with the installed OS.
after installing a new mobo you have to setup the OS anew.

Uninstall AVG, reboot your computer, and try reinstalling it.
