the three types of snakes that don't lay eggs....
boas, pit vipers and a wide variety of water snakes (garter snakes, banded water snakes, ribbon snakes, etc.)

There is no 'only' species that don'y lay eggs.

Some kinds of snake I know that give birth to live young are:
Brown Snake (most species)
Garter snakes (most species)
corn snakes (i'm not 100% positive though)

i know that boa constrictors dont lay eggs they have live births.so snakes tht are in the constrictor family dont lay eggs.CORN snakes do lay eggs.i have had corns and successfuly had 28 eggs

Boa's dont lay eggs and neither do copperheads.
