Well it would bring a whole new concept to the phrase "I was up on the computer all night" wouldn't it? Or my "Laptop Computer just sits there."
Besides, Bill didn't INVENT it.. he was a fore runner at developing it for general use.

Bill Gates invented and developed the software to run computers, not computers. Ever heard of a small company named Microsoft? Computers were brought along in the 1940's.
