How do I find out why two bulbs in my tanning bed don't work? Changing the bulbs does not help. They just don't work at all.

One of the transformers, also called ballasts has probably gone bad. It is also possible that one of the wires has come loose inside the bed. You should probably call an electrician who has experience with tanning beds, because some of the voltages inside the bed may be very high. Good luck.

A tanning bed is something that I prefer over a spray tan. Yes, tanning beds are harmful, but no more harmful than being in the sun for an extended period of time without sun screen. You begin noticing your tan the first time of use, but it isn't really visibly tan for about one week of use. With spray tans, it's an instant look that you've been tanning, but almost every single spray tan has a noticable orange look to it. Whether or not you can see it, many can. I say go with the tanning bed. You won't look orange that way!

The bulb contacts could be not making good contact or the balast that serves thes 2 bulbs is bad. You would need to use a volt meter to trouble shoot properly

For heaven's sake haven't you paid attention to the news in the last week? Those things are as dangerous as sunlight and more-so sometimes. Sorry to preach at you like this but I've had several skin cancers surgically removed and it's no fun and very expensive. One on my face required a plastic surgeon. Sorry again but your problem is a blessing in disguise. Maybe it's an omen. Pay attention.

Flourescent lapms are powered by a ballast. Replace the ballast and they will work again.

There's probably a problem with the connection.
