Absolutely no doubt about it , the British monarchy could not allow a woman who publicly wiped her hands of royalty and engaged in a romance with a person of an ethnic background while remaining in the public favour to get away with it .

She was killed for no other reason than she was far more popular than the royal family in it's entirety .

Some of us believe it was not just a car crash, I don't believe for one moment that Henri Paul, (the driver) was drunk, there is no way a British Ex-Serviceman, working as bodyguard, is going to get into a car driven by anyone intoxicated! I also don't believe that the royal family would have wanted, or accepted Arab Muslims, as relatives of the future King of England, (siblings to William and Harry) As Diana was clearly in love with Dodi, there was a possibility of marriage/children!

it was just an accident. and Dodi's father cannot come to terms with the fact the he will never see his son again. children know that they bury their parents, and not parents bury their children. perhaps it's the only way Dodi's father can still feel close to him, so he does not have to let go.
Diana was young enough to start a new life and had started to, so she had every thing to live for, which is another reason for people not to let go.

It was clearly an accident, as you say. Unfortunately, some of the public and all of the press want us to believe other wise. This is hardly suprising, as it was they who, really, killed Diana. The vacuous interest in "celebrity" provided the demand for the scurrilous stories and pictures. And the press, like drug dealers, were only too pleased to sell there souls for newpaper sales.

I hate writing against my Queen, but I think so.
The Royal family didn't want Muhammad al Fayed in the country, and Diana and Dodi were going to run away and get married, making Muhammad part of the Royal family, by marriage, so they put a stop to it.

Personally, I think al Fayed is the ONLY sort of Muslim we want in this country, a rich one who supports this country.

People seem to forget that Diana said before her death that she was a threat to the royal family and feared they might take some retaliative action to shut her up. Funnily enough months later she dies, mmm.. strikes me as a bit odd

I believe that it was just an awful tragedy, she was the most famous woman in the world, so her early death shocked people. It was just a tragic accident and for William and Harry's sake, I wish people would let her rest in peace.

They were being chased by the Paparazzi.
The driver was pissed.
They weren't wearing seat belts.
The tunnel pillar was harder than their car was.

People die in car accidents every day.
Why should famous people be any different?

Now put this part of the past to rest.
Let them be.
