and as for not liking to listen to news broadcasts, i do not like the artificle sound of a radio or television, nor do i like to look at a screen, not to mention, it is boring to listen to people repeat events and occurrances,so why do i look at the computer, not much and i will eventually not look at the computer, it is my life ,right.you know sometimes it is an infringement on my being to listen to your conversation, where you repeat what you hear on the news, i deliberately do not listen, and there you want to destroy my space with your putrid tripe of a movie or news or video, with the guise of it being informative or educating, and then there is the ethnic aspect of such, i might not want to hear about you,

You have a right not to want to listen to the news or read the newspapers. I'm not sure I understand how you go about making certain daily decisions then. I mean NEWS includes traffic & weather Newspapers include sales & savings. Are you not interested in those? Not judging. Just curious.

There is nothing wrong except you might not like to read. Do you read books?

The newspaper I think can be very more informative about things going on in your community.

If you like national news then you can use the Internet or the television.

But if you just don't like news all together, it might be because you don't want to hear about all the bad things that are going on in the world.

My brother has not read or listened to the news in over 10 years but he still has a general idea about what's going on in the world...he said that's enough for him.

So forget about what other people say....do what you want.

I got that you don't like the feel and smell of news papers, but you didn't explain your objection to listening to news broadcasts.
