i have a single headed 12 string guitar by the company baldwin who where around in the late 60;s and early 70's.they where based in london.my guitar is the red type with a blue velvet inside of it;s black hard carrying case.i am trying to find out it's current value for insurance .can any one out there help

Yes you can google for "burns baldwin guitars" because i think burns were taken over by baldwins and there is a lot in common with the guitars.

I'm surprised there isn't a website devoted to baldwins though. They were fairly common in the 70's.

Best way to establish value is to keep checking Ebay, do a search for "burns baldwin guitars" there are usually a few on there.

Insurance value, I'd say 800 pounds if you have the original case.But they often change hands for a lot less.

According to the 2007 Blue Book of Electric Guitars, the Baldwin 712R- probably what you have- has a value that ranges from $750 (400 pounds) in mint condition down to $200 (150 pounds) in average condition. Their most expensive 12 string (the Double Six) has a value of 900 pounds down to 375 pounds.

try dick spanner recording studios he made this group a huge success in wales , there biggest hit was in wales and was called "a wanka's paradise" ( which just about sums up wales ) its by arfur suckmeoff and the shaved twats on wanka records and all it costs is a good hand job or one up your anus if its dick =))
