WRONG.Judging by todays performance, the way pakistan lost
the first ODI in SA.Pakistani fans here in SA,was really upset
not to see him playing today. So, imagine how upset the fans would be,not to see Danish Kaneria play in the world cup.

Danish Kaneria is an important player for Pakistan and that management knows very well.......and every Pakistani loves him alot....please , there is no role of religion here, he is a Pakistani and he plays faithfuly for Pakistan and only that matters.. and Btw why should he move to India?? Do you realy think BCCI would give him all wht he deserve? I think you are not aware of BCCI politics...they have kept ganguly , the best player out of team for so long without any reason....Are you sure they would give some respect to Kaneria who is a Pakistani? And Btw do u realy think he would like to move to india?? Come on! baseless hypothesis ! He is Danish Kaneria not Adnan Sami !
Managment doesn't want to abandon Danish and admit his skills and i m sure they would give him what he deserves......a talented player always gets his right place in team and Kaneria is no doubt the most talented player !

Dear friend,
If that is the case I think there are several players of Indian origin who played for various nations like Rohan Kanhai, Ramnaresh Sarwan, Shivnarayan Chanderpaul, Nasir Hussain and so many of them should all of them have to play for India?
Important question is that is there any place for kaneria in Indian team, is India like England board to import players since there are no quality players (kevin Piterson actually from South Africa and many more), In India there is struggle for getting a place in playing 11, do you think Indians will rate Kaneria ahead of Anil Kumble and Harbhajan Singh?
Even Kaneria might not be interested to play for India. If you are talking about his place in 15 of Pakistan WC squad, let me tell you there is no place for sure for him, look at the options Pakistan have in their bowling dept, poor Kaneria will only get hammered in West Indies, kind of bowler he is I don't think he will be able to stop the flow of runs which is important in One day cricket, he is more over a test match bowler.

I don't think he will be going to be accepted by Indian cricket. And it's obviously a wrong decision taken by Pakistani cricket. According to how much I have known about him, he is a nice player and should not be excluded from the team.

Pakistan have chosen the 15 players, who they thought best.
It is entirely internal affairs of Pakistan and not fair for others
to interfere. They have not included him in the 15 probables because they felt that he will not be effective in ODI

Lets not mix religion and sports. Anyway, even if he turned up in India, he would not find a place in the team ahead of Kumble, Bhajji, Powar, Karthik etc.....

I'm not sure if the decision has been made based upon his religious faith but even for a muslim he has to belong to a particulat brand of muslim to get a preferred treatment.

We don't need him. Kumble, Harbajan are the kings behind Muraleedharn, in the subcontinent.
