Very earliest memory: My Daddy on my right holding my hand and my Mother on my left holding my other hand. We are walking downtown and they both lift me up over a curb at the same time while I squeal Weeee!! They are smiling because I am so easily pleased! Thanks for reminding me of that. It was a long time ago. @8-)

Some of the best moments from my childhood are:
My first swim lesson.
Riding in the sidecar of my dad's motorcycle and being tipped up into the air.
My first smell of a real horse.
The light parade at Disneyland.

playing hide and seek with my mom in the house, cooking with her, playing with my siblings, and being home sick, and gettin grilled cheese and bean and bacon soup.
My dad every morning on his way home from work brought me a blueberry hostess pie, to eat " on the sneak" before mom got up. My dad playing hooky once to stay home and play with me..we played play-doh, colored, and chased each other around the house all day making the dog crazy and laugjing hysterically. Sitting on my dads lap after I got home from pre school to watch Dukes of Hazzard.
Going to the drag races with my dad on sunday afternoons, and eating hotdogs, nacho's, and having pop.
Gardening with my mom, playing war with my brother, dolls with my sister......
Wow, I guess despite all the crazy things that happened at least my youngest years were really good.

Helping my Mother gather veg tables from the garden for dinner. She would send me to get corn, holding 3 fingers up, every time I pulled an ear, I would take a finger down. Also it was my job to bring in kindling for the fireplace, I had a red wagon to haul it, we had snow and ice and I couldn't pull my wagon up the hill till my Dad came and helped. Thanks

Playing softball with the boys. Neat, considering I was this "delicate little thing" and they always let me score. The power of being a woman, you know.:)
