Have you ever lived, for a few months, in a foreign country?

My husband and I are thinking we would like to live in England for a few months by trading houses with a family from there. Have you ever done this or something similar? How did it work out?

Yes i have lived in the USA for 4 months and it was very nice there :)

yes i lived in Portugal 6 months and it was an spectacular experience.
England is an under full country. its cold there.
