if you owned a big company (such as coca-cola) would you pay $85,000 dollars a second to promote your company?

Budweiser usually has the best, but I heard this year they are not doing any. Apparently Coca-Cola is releasing one (first one since that mean jo green commerical from 76).
Anyway studies have shown that the only companies who really benefit from these Super Bowl commercials are the relatively unknowns (think of the pets.com etc..commercials from 99 and 00). they help put those companies on the road map.
We all know who Budweiser is (Wassssssssuuuuup)
We all know who Fed Ex is
etc...

I am looking forward to the Thong commercial. If I owned big company, I wouldn't think twice about paying that much

Oh yeah, I love the football, but I love the commercials and half-time show better.
This is the companies' biggest marketing day of the year. They can afford it. You may not ever use their product, but you remember the commercials. Like when the Bud Frogs first appeared.

I love the bud light ones. There so funny. I wouldn't pay that much for a superbowl commercial but you can do commercials before the game for less and still alot of people watch those too.

I think the money these companies spend is a big waste, since most people watch the commercials for entertainment value, not necessarily because they're really interested in those products or services

if i owned coca cola, I would be rich! so why not? I am defiantly looking forward to commercials. I don't really watch the game, I watch the commercials!

Now the Superbowl commercials are usually funny, I wish they would come out with a video of just the commercials then I would look at that. =)

No I wouldnt. Halftime is the time when you refill on snacks, not watch corny commercials.

I liked the cell phone one last year (the one where they are comparing what their cell phone has and the one guy says he has theft deterrent and throws it at the other guy) Was so funny!!!
