This is directed more you ladies and my fellow gay males. I am meeting this guy I have been talking to for about a month now. It was a hook-up through my sister. He lives in Florida and I live in Georgia. I am going to spend next weekend with him. I am much the masculine straight acting getto white boy type and I am not good at the gifts. He is very flamboyant and awesome. His favorite colors are purple, blue and black. I need ideas so I can give him something simple and thoughtful when I see him.

You don't want to go to hog wild for the first meeting. I am a traditionalist and would go for flowers and wine. Depending on how much you to can and have communicated, this may or may not be appropriate. Do you both have cell phones where you can talk to each other often? If not, perhaps a prepaid phone card or even prepaid phone so you can keep in touch. Any jewelry would be inappropriate for a first meeting so please resist that urge. Sometimes just something homemade would be sweet, do you have any hobby that could create a gift? Wood working, metal...? Whatever you do make it simple, small and sweet. Good luck. Sounds like you are very excited and probably have butterflies in your stomach.

It has to be small, a token gift. You don't want him to be overwhelmed and scared off since you really do not know him well at all.

I would suggest of the examples people have given you so far, choose a "miniature" version, like a small purple or lavendar bear in a cup, maybe a little box of candy, something like that.

You really do not know the man although you have communicated long-distance. You don't want to make him feel ill at ease. Remember, this is just a first meeting.

I'm a huge fan of teddy bears! Maybe find one that has his favorite colors in it? Or! ( here's a cool idea ) get him one of those Betta fishes ( they're black right? ). Put it in a small bowl with clear light lavender and dark purple glass rocks. I love to decorate and I think that would look really neat! Good luck!

I think your time and attention is enough for the first meeting. A gift is nice but the truth is that you are the gift and the fact your traveling to see him is enough.
Have a nice time and be safe!

A pair of black silk boxers. Simple, personal, and erotic.

maybe the classic flowers, in those coloures, or perhaps a cute stuffed animal. those always work for first dates...good luck!! Oh, and don't forget to compliment his eyes once or twice in the time you see him, just don't over do it...you'll be fine!
