you count the 24, 25 , 26 , 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, that would be 14 days get an ovulation kit and it will tell u if u r ovulating or not take it 8 days after your period begins the 10 then 12 not everyone ovulates 14 days later

No offense but the above answers are very incorrect. Ovulation does NOT occur at the middle of your cycle nor does it occur 14 days After your period. Ovulation almost ALWAYS occurs 14 days before your expected period no matter what the length of your cycle is, because it takes 14 days from when you ovulate for the egg to travel and either be fertilized and implant or be eliminated through your period. So just count back 14 days from the first day of your next expected period. I could figure out when you would ovulate if I knew the length of your cycle. But try going to www.babycenter.com and using their ovulation calculator, I have found it to be quite accurate! Good Luck!

Well not all women ovulate on day 14 as we all do not have 28 days cycles. Like mine last month was 34 days and this month my cycle would have been 29 days but I got my bfp! Any way the best advice I can give you is to get a fertility monitor. I own the clear blue easy and it was the best investment I made. I bought it in December and only used it two months. I decided to purchase it after I lost my baby this past October at 6 months pregnant. You can buy them on EBay for around 130 with the sticks! It tells you low high or peek fertility. Now the first month it is getting used to your cycles so it gives you quite a bit of high days and than it did give me my peak which ment I was ovulating! Now if you have any questions please feel free to email me Megdizzy22@aol.com. I also did use ovulex too so that did help! Hope my info helps.

Ovulation happens 10-16 days before the start of your next period with 14 days being most common. So many women believe you ovulate on day 14 but for many women this is wrong. The ovulation calendars can be very misleading because they often assume a text-book 28 day cycle which most women don't have. It is better to chart your temps than rely on ovulation cals.

Both, assuming that you have a 28 day cycle.

The best way to guess is to take the average length of your cycle (from the first day of one period to the first day of the next) and divide it in half. So, if you have a 32 day cycle, you probably ovulate on day 16.

The pharmacies sell Ovulation Predictor Kits now, which take a lot of the guess work out of it. You can also read the book Taking Charge of Your Fertility for more information than you can possibly imagine about natural family planning and how to get pregnant.

Good luck!
