Love, trust, dedication and alot of patience, belive me I was in it for 24 years, unfortunatley, It has ended and I wish I would have grown old with this woman.

A marriage works when each person gives 100%. This means that each person looks out for the others' interests and puts them ahead of him or herself. For some people, this can be very difficult at times. There are definately times when you don't want to put the other person first, and you'd rather just do what you want. For other people, and at other times, it is very easy to do, especially if you still are experiencing the feelings/emotions of "love" -- it makes you want to do crazy things like watch his action movies instead of your chick flicks, or make him his favorite supper, even though you may want something else. The more "in love" you feel, the easier it is to do these things, and the more both people are doing these things, the easier it is to feel "in love."

My marriage takes a lot of work but it kind of depends on what I did or what my husband has done. I achieve success in the work in my marriage by listening, talking it out, and sticking around even when things hurt me or my feelings.

This takes work and dedication. Marriage is what you make of it... The more you work at it the better it is but the less you put into it the worse it gets. You need to take care of your spouse and of your marriage and work through things together instead of running when things get a little rough.

I believe it takes 100%/100% to work and for you and your mate to be happy,sexual,serious,make sound decision together and i love my life and my guy for being a real MAN.

I'm sorry you feel like it takes work. what it takes is love compassion for your partner .GOD in your lives being able to give strength when he needs it and someone to give it back when you do. you don't achieve it GOD gives it to you.remember we can not do anything without GOD we are powerless .were human remember not GOD. but this journey is a very rewarding one with right one.must all ways keep a strong one with GOD or you dead in the water .
