At age 15 and in a family where things are extremly tight money-wise, I was thinking of a good gift for my boyfriend that wouldn't be crappy because it was cheap.

So here's what I thought of- I'd get a nice basket, fill it with a bunch of little inexpensive things ((ideas are welcomed to what I should put in it)), print out some pictures of me and him and decorate the basket with them, and then tie a valentines day balloon on it. Does that sound good, or would you be disappointed with a gift like that???

Instead of a basket, maybe you can find a cheap little tool box or a fishing tackle box, and fill it with candy, that way it's more of a guy gift. You might even be able to find a very inexpensive tool set or fishing tackle to add in with the candy. Or if he is not into tools or fishing, then think of what he really likes, and go from there. But I think that is a very sweet idea, and anything you put together yourself means more than those store bought, pre-made, gift baskets, because it means that you have taken the time and put a lot of thought into it.

That is a very sweet idea to do. It is the thought that counts, so if your boyfriend is very appreciative about the things you do for him, and is nonmaterialistic, then everything should work out well. If you have a local dollar store, they have some really cute things (and everything costs a dollar! which is great!) You can stuff the basket with candies, and little valentines thing. And the whole picture thing, is awesome. Memories last forever, and memories captured in pictures is very sweet. You can even make a scrap book, with your pictures together and what not, and put things that remind you of him, and vice versa. Very sweet!
Good luck! :)

I think that is a wonderful idea for a gift. That is definitely something that I would never have thought of doing. I suggest you go to Wal*Mart and fill that basket!
Things to put in it: inexpensive cologne, hair products, or maybe even some candy.

If you know some things he likes - it would be a great idea! The thought alone will show how much you care for him! Practical gifts are wonderful and he would think of you when he uses them or has them in his room to remember you by.

it ought to recommend that he forgot, he change into operating late to get living house to devour dinner, there have been no extra roses left contained in the flower shop, or he were given drained of doing an identical stuff each and every year. it could be many causes why. you merely favor to ask him. do no longer make it a large deal, merely cope with it like yet another day and tell him you adore him and gives you him an rather good huge hug! Your love is what counts!

A single red rose will cost you about $3 ...and speaks volumes. Don't try to hard...it should feel naturally romantic...not forced or unnecessarily (cheesily) grand. Write her a poem...that is free and a deep sentiment...record some of your favorite songs and burn em to a CD, write her love notes on it. There are tons of free things that are personable and will be appreciated. Maybe you should ask for some more ideas...instead of validating your effort. Then pick the one that feels the most natural and heartfelt.

tats v cute idea...but i personally dont like the balloon part. i dnt think guys like balloons. the idea s v sweet n it proves how much u love him but instead of balloon y dont u keep a standard red rose or some flowers like orchids. flowers are so expressive. ofcourse add chocolates in basket. n if u can write a poem or anything then also keep one there. if u dnt have a poem i can give u which i have written. if u want my poem email me at thakur_kom@yahoo.com
