Don't listen to someone that tells you it is expensive to come to America to study. If you are from a minor country, such as Moldova, you can get great rates to go to college. Most large universities, such as Purdue University, will pay for your college. You can also get into the college and the government will pay for other things such as housing and food. You just have to contact the college in America. You can write to the college and ask for assistance in financial aid. They will send you information that will help you understand how you can study in America.

There are other options also. You can become a teachers assistant. This means you will help the teachers in the college by teaching your language as a foreign language. For you assistance in teaching the college will pay for your college and give you extra money to spend on food and etc (if you don't get a grant from the government).

My suggestion:
1. Talk to your English teacher at your school. He/she will know how you can get started.
2. Look up colleges in America and send for information about how to get in the college and ask about financial aid for small countries.
3. Keep studying English hard. I would suggest going to a chat site online and talking to Americans to keep improving your English. It will help with your "everyday" slang English which will help you while you are here in America studying.

Good Luck! Never give up on your dream! (your English is great!)

Too expensive to study in US. You'll have to have at least $50,000 each year for tuition and miscellaneous expenses. I suggest you study in another English-speaking country like India, the tuition shouldn't be as steep as it is in US, but most schools follow the American education standard. In the Philippines, English is the medium of instruction in all universities and you only spend (in the most expensive schools) about US$3000 - $5000 a year for tuition depending on your major and other school expenses. Living expenses for a year is about $3000.

There are a lot of foreign students here in the Philippines. Japanese, Korean, Russian, Germans, French, Americans, Australians, Chinese, Indonesians, Vietnamese, etc.

No offense kid, but If I knew how to get you a free education I'd tell my 3 nephews first. Do you play sports well or play an instrument? Maybe you could apply for scholarships to foreign schools.
If you are interested in US schools.:
Check out the website below /see if you can get your hands on one of these books/pick a school you are interested in/check out scholarship and foreign student programs or write them for info
