Just plug in some usb device and verify the correct work of that. I.e. plugging a usb printer, printing a sample sheet must be the test, or plugging a usb flashpen to browse on it. At the same time, you'll know the speed of the port ok. Greetings

Connect the item you have with the power off on the item to the USB cable, then connect the USB Cable to the computer, now turn the item on, your computer will find it, but to use the item you need the Driver Softwear for it
