I have just purchased the sims (complete collection) but it seems a bit weird!
For a start, it takes AGES to load, then - when it has loaded - it just puts me in a training mode (so you can't choose your sim) also, it runs full screen, so it can't be minimised!
I am running windows vista - could that be the problem?

you have to go all the way through training mode first anyway and its also normal for it not to be minimized.it sounds normal to me.

Windows Vista could be the problem...
Have a look in My Computer to see how much space you have available.
Windows Vista currently doesn't work with many programs

It doies take a while to get going, but Vista isn't really ready for most games yet. Check the Sims web-site for more info - it's great.
