It depends. Some people seem to have it easier than others. Lets face it if you are pretty, blonde and thin with an average intelligence you are more likely to get ahead than a woman who is average looking and overweight and graduate from college with honors. The old saying " its whats inside that counts" is a nice sentiment, but lets face it, if people don't like your outside, then don't give you a chance to get to know what you are like. Many sources tell us that overweight women are paid less than thin ones and are let go quicker even though they are well qualified.
