The Super Bowl is an event - not just a game. The commercials have become part of the experience. If you try to imagine watching the Super Bowl in a "Commercial Free" environment, it would lose something. I have never been to a Super Bowl game live. I wonder, do they show the commercials in the stadium?

Who cares about the commercials. Bring on the game. GO BEARS!! You can watch commercials everyday, but you can only watch the BIG football game once a year!!

The commercials are always really good, so i think for me it is about half and half. However you left out one very interesting part, the halftime show. I don't know if it will be any good this year though because like last year they have an older singer. This is OK for some people but being 21 years old I would prefer a newer artist.

The commericals are the best part. Thats the #2 reason I watch the Super Bowl.

Sorry but I can't understand anyone watching the superbowl just fot the commercials....there are a few funny ones but most of them aren't that good.
I'm waiting for the halftime show...can't wait for prince...oh he's on... bye

No, I TAPE the game and zip by the game to observe the classified ads... the finished opposite of what I frequently tape a application and do (it truly is, zap the classified ads and watch this technique!)!!! all and multiple seems entitled to my opinion.

i'm a girl - and not too sound too stereotypical - i watch for the commercials
i don't find football all that interesting - i mean it can hold my attention for a little bit, but not for a long period of time - the commercials are what i really watch for! i 'm so excited!!
