If you did this trade a year ago, you would have gotten more money for it because EB/GS was having a deal where you get more money for trading in your old console.

The old PS2 isn't worth much because it's old, and it doesn't have some of the features that the slim PS2 has, like a built-in network adapter.

As for games, they really depend on what type of games and how much they're in demand. If you have old sports games, consider them worthless to maybe 5 bucks, top. The 2007 Madden and NBA games are maybe 10 to 15 bucks top because football season is just about over, and the NBA is near the mid-way point. Bully can rake in a decent amount because it's a popular game. If you have Zone of the Enders 2, you'll get pretty good money for it.

Go to www.gamestop.com and do a search for all your games. Look for the price for that game used and you can get an idea of how much the game is worth. Any games that's selling for around 5 to 10 bucks, don't expect GS/EB to buy it from you.

You can also try ebay.com to see how much some people are willing to pay for them.

To be perfectly honest, I don't think you can fetch a premium 360 with what you have, but you might come close to fetching a core 360.

My advice to you: Don't trade it in to EB/GS unless they have some sort of deal. EB/GS gives very little because it has overhead expenses, and most of that money comes from buying games for low and selling them back high. EB/GS sets the price, so you can't negotiate for a higher price on your games. It's either take it or leave it, so most of the time, you end up getting screwed. You're best bet is to try to sell them to your friends. You'll get a much better deal than selling it back to the store. Just bring them to the store and let them see how much old games are selling for, and they'll see that they're getting a bargain from you.

Most likely. A good 360 unit is $400. Figure maybe $40 for the PS2, $10 each per game, you are very close to $400. Maybe not quite enough, but if you have another $100, you are in good shape I suspect.

The only way you can pull this off if you go to a "Mom and Pop" type store. They are sometimes more giving then say GameStop or EBgames. If you go to any major video game store then you are going to play.
