Sure, that is probably a universal occurrence. Everyone who likes to cook, or who is learning to cook has to have several cooking disasters.
I even saw Paula Deen, who owns a couple of restaurants, and has two cooking shows....mess up a few days ago on tv and drop some vanilla glass pinch bowl and all into a mixing bowl on a stand mixer. It can happen to the best of us.
It's a depressing experience when something has to get thrown away, pot and all.
Have a good, and burn free...day.

Nope, But I do know someone that put a pot of water on to boil and forgot about it and burnt the pot. She was having a blonde moment!
