It seems to me that the Jewish and Indian people are usually the most educated, highly paid group of men and women. Any thoughts to why this is? It must be something about the culture, but what?

Jewish and Indian families and culture value community, family, and education. The guy who said that the US only lets in wealthy, successful people is an idiot.

My family came here with nothing, but had a strong work ethic and moral code, like a lot of Indian families I know too!

They work together to help each other. You've heard the old saying "two heads are better then one" and the book that Hillary Clinton wrote "It takes a village to raise a child"? In other words the more the merrier. Team work is the key to success. Ideas and growth are better cultivated if everyone digs in. Many societies including the USA have a sense in entitlement. Everyone seems to be out for themselves. The word sharing is no longer in the vocabulary.

Well I'm going to assume that you are accually talking about jewish americans and indian-americans. The reason why these people always seem so succesfull is becuase the united states doesnt allow just any old indians or jews over here, only the ones who allready have money. Add to that the access to low interest government loans and there you have it.

Think: would the government just let any old jewish carpenter(no pun intended) or indian store clerk over? no we already have enough of the average working class.

I'm sure if you visit india you might consider it to be less civilized.
