i keep gettin disconnected so i called my net company and they said its becuz of call waitin so we called the phone company and they said we dont have call waitin so what do i do now?

From what I remember from when I still used the infernal dial-up, firstly check the connection settings to make sure they haven't been set to disconnect you if the computer's been idle for a specific length of time.
If that fails, you'll most likely have to get a phone engineer to test your phoneline for "line noise".
However, you're best solution now would probably be to upgrade to Broadband (if available in your area) since it's getting pretty much just as cheap as dial-up, and goes sh*tloads faster when downloading stuff.

get high speed internet it much faster and you dont get disconnected. I've had dial internet before I would always get disconnected when someone is trying to reach me. Plus when you use dial internet you need to choose specific number to dial that goes to your phone company as a regular call.
