no the series ended after the 5th season..I wish they had done another or at least a spin off..they kind of left us hanging.

Sorry nipper there won't.Angel got canned same time as Buffy did.The WB network didn't pick it up after Sarah Michelle Gellar refused to do any more Buffy.They wanted both as sister shows running in tandem.
Poor ratings & expensive production costs were part of the reason as well.Joss Whedon was trying to get Firefly off the ground as well & couldn't do everything.So he's been trying to get finance to tie up all the loose ends in Angel via a mini-series.No signs yet if it will be made.We live in hope tho!!

No... the (then) WB gave Joss Whedon the shaft on that midway through season 5, so just as they were celebrating their 100th episode and all they found out shortly thereafter they wouldn't renew the contract for another season.
Now, there IS supposed to be a graphic novel series or something out that (I think, don't quote me) tells the stories of what happens after the "BIG SHOWDOWN".

No, Angel ended after just season five. It was just one year after Buffy ended. Angel was actually canceled because the WB wanted more reality TV shows. Which sucks because I really loved that show. He was pretty hot to look at too.lol.

No. Angel has been over and David Boreanaz has been working on the Fox show Bones for two seasons now.

Sadly no. But Joss is writing an 8th season of Buffy in comic book form.
