Ok, this is going to seem weird. But, the way to control your dreams is to learn to lucid dream. One way to do this, is during all your waking moments, ask yourself several times a day, am I dreaming or am I awake. I know this will seem silly, but do it every day for 3 weeks straight. It becomes so ingrained that you'll do it in your dreams as well. As soon as you ask yourself in a dream if you're dreaming or awake, and recognize that you're dreaming you can then control your dreams. It's FANTASTIC.

I have similar recurring dreams about workplaces and/or past romantic relationships. I also serial-dated at one workplace while going through a divorce. In my case, it cost me my job, while it didn't cost the men involved one dang thing. This led to a fair amount of psychological trauma and unexpressed anger, which I believe still shows up in my dreams.
For me, when I don't express my feelings adequately toward someone, or when I realize years later that an injustice was perpetrated against me, I tend to start having recurring dreams about that subject. The dreams tend to be negative, where I'm stuck in some impossible social or work situation and can't fix it. I haven't been successful yet in lucid-dreaming my way into a better outcome, but really haven't tried that hard.
I agree with other posters that there is something about the dream scenario that you should investigate, analyze, or just meditate on. It seems to be trying to tell you something; that something is entirely up to you.

You answered your own question. Your dream is recurring because it is trying to tell you something. Perhaps you do have unfinished business, feelings etc., with someone or something there. Next time you have, when you wake up, write it down. Try to see if you focus on a certain person or the things you feel. Hope it helps.

"Perhaps I have unfinished business with someone, or all of them, or the place. There is no reason for me to return there, and the company moved to another city."
I think you just answered your own question.
But then again, it could be your own mind, yourself conscious missing those people somewhere deep down, and wanting to see them again, missing some fun times back there, so your mind is just having those dreams remembering.

Go to your local Mom and Pop grocery store and by yourself .......... a box of Fiddle Faddle and a Slinky.
Then go home and play with the Slinky while eating the box of Fiddle Faddle.
(Note: Do this just before bed.)

i had worse recurring dreams before. well all i did was imagine (yes, while dreaming) that the dream was a tv channel and then id switched channels. the dreams that we have are usually the last thoughts we had before we sleep. try thinking of different things before sleeping.

You must have subconsciously liked something about it. Figure out what that is and the dreams will stop.
