Actually, the story comes before the writing... If you make up some artificial plot that doesn't really represent an inner idea and inner emotions, you can stop writing directly - you would end up with nothing but a bad novel. Writing good novels means having an idea about human life and about the relationships between people. If you don't have anything to say in the first place, why bother writing (not to mention reading!)?

i do not imagine i have ever examine a youngster novel, which will be ironic pondering i'm 17 and performance in common words been heavily interpreting for decades. For some reason, the variety I examine maximum is technology fiction. i do not plan it this kind, and that i'm no longer particular that i'd even say sci-fi is my renowned form. I only happen to love some writers that continually stick with sci-fi. for instance, Philip ok. Dick is truly one of my favorites; through him, i have examine "Do Androids Dream of electric powered Sheep?" and "A Scanner Darkly". "A Scanner Darkly" has fewer sci-fi factors and supplies extra emotion than DADoES, yet both are dazzling. also, "The Martian Chronicles" through Ray Bradbury is extremely unfashionable, which i love. It develop into written the 1950's and has countless classic sci-fi factors, yet is likewise very mature in its portrayal of human (and alien) emotion. i'm at the moment interpreting "evaluate Phlebas" through Iain M. Banks, that is extra cutting-area (1980's). It has an noticeably gritty, mature form if it really is what you're into.

Anything that you like to read about.

I favor romance novels so I tend to write stories with a romance component.

Maybe if you're interested in fantasy, you could write about mystic animals. [Sorry, I honestly haven't read a lot of fantasy so I don't know what they're really about.] If you're interested in adventure stories, write about an op that Navy SEALs have to go through. If you like romance, write about love. Etc.

If you like the subject that you're writing about, you will tend to have more interest and put more thought and effort into writing.

Good luck!
