I believe it's just a fundamental difference between the genders, really. I believe it's important for both to understand these basic differences. Its more than just anatomy, it's psychology. Too often a person expects their partner to be like them, those expectations are absurd. To all the women out there "Understand your man." They are not to be treated like one of your chatty girlfriends. To all the men, "understand your woman", she likes frilly things and talking endlessly about inane stuff.
Don't fall for all the PC feminist crap about the genders being the same.

Men are more simplistic than women are. They have the ability to think of one thing at a time or nothing at all. They use 1/2 of their brain when thinking about things, where scientifically women use both sides at the same time. We connect everything emotionally. We think about everything and how everything is connected, not just one little thing. This tends to make us more complicated. It's just our nature. Maybe not ALL women, but a majority, myself included. I suggest a couple of things. 1. Therapy to help you work through issues 2. Relaxation methods so you don't stress as much 3. Journal to get the crap out of your head 4. Talk to a minister or pastor of your faith for guidance 5. Read books. There's a lot of good guidance out there. Here's one I found helpful: > The Feeling Good Handbook - David Burns You need to learn to go with the flow and let some things go. It's difficult at first, but once you let go of the need to control everything, you will feel better. You are stressing over everything and that is not healthy. Have faith in the Divine, keep praying, and just know that things will turn out as they should. Good luck!

It isn't a woman-thing solely. Whenever people cohabitate or get intimate, they have different goals, needs, and interests. The key to dealing with any kind of intimate relationship is mutual compromise (if possible) and really understanding what the needs, interests and goals of the other person are, and then figuring out if you can compromise without giving up on your own goals, interests and needs.
That is assuming, of course, that your goals, interests and needs are healthy ones, and that you are in touch with your subconcious motivations and not stuck in react mode or in some emotional rut where you act without thinking.

Because we were programmed to not like beer, abhor sex AFTER we get married and HATE anything having to do with ESPN-So you can either A) date dudes B) bring home good bubbly-treat us like we are NOT m/w kids(send kids to grandma's, take out dinner, listen to our ramblings(DON"T OFFER ADVICE, just nod and smile) and cuddle-then do us like a bunny) send us to the mall when the "game" is on or tivo it-at that point you and the women in your life will "click"-Its really not hard just different

Ok us women think with both part of our brains. Men on the other hand only think with one side of their brain.
