I'm new to it but I just got a house. So I bought stuff for my house but when I go to put it in I check my invertory and nothing is there! But when I go to check my stuff everything is still there!

You need to put all of your furniture into your suitcase.
Click on "My Gaia" at the top of the page, and then click on "My Stuff" from the options that appear below it. On your "My Stuff" page, click on "Organize My Inventory." That will bring a page that includes your suitcase. Click on the suitcase to open it, then move your furniture to your suitcase by dragging it. Once you've moved everything, click on "save changes" to finish.
Once that's done, all of your furniture will appear in your inventory when you edit your home.
