How do you pronounce "Cervantes," the author of Don Quixote?

Sir - van - tees

..............but that it is how I pronounce Cervantes. It might be wrong, but that's how I say it !

And the "c" is pronounced like the "th" in "thing". At least when you're Spanish and not South American ;)

It's not "sir" it's more like the word "air" with an S in front.

S -air -vahn - tay -s

And make sure all of your vowel sounds are short. Trill the "r" a little if you can.

some might say "sir-vaughn-tays"

but just make sure your final S sounds like an S and not a Z
